How to choose the working parameters of the toothed roller gangue crusher
The toothed roller type gangue crusher adopts the crushing principle of the combination of impact crushing and shearing and stretching. The two crushing toothed rollers adopt a differential speed design, which can solve the problem of the toothed roller crusher that is difficult to crush wet and sticky materials. In the process of designing the crusher, it is necessary to select its working parameters reasonably, and the specific method is introduced as follows.
1) Rotation speed of toothed roller
The gear roll speed directly affects the performance of the crusher. The crusher adopts the crushing principle of the combination of impact crushing and shearing tensile crushing. Impact crushing can make the material obtain a larger crushing work, and the shearing tensile crushing can make the material along its own lattice defects and texture defects. Directional crushing not only saves crushing power consumption, but also greatly increases the crushing ratio of materials. The test shows that the effect of this kind of toothed roller crusher is better when the linear speed of the toothed roller is between 20-30 m/s.
2) Distribution of crushing ratio
In order to meet the requirement of large crushing ratio, the equipment is designed as two upper and lower crushing chambers. The crushing ratio of the upper and lower sections is calculated as follows:
Where: i1 is the crushing ratio of the upper section; i2 is the crushing ratio of the lower section; N1 is the installed power of the upper section; N2 is the installed power of the lower section.
3) Installed power
When the effective power of the crusher is 50% to 80% of the installed power, the crusher operates better and has fewer failures.
In the formula, P motor is the installed power (kW), and P effective is the crushing power of the toothed roller (kW). The effective power is calculated according to the third crushing theory, that is: where k is the coefficient, and it is generally taken as 1 for fine crushing; Wi is the work index (kW.h/t); d is the discharge particle size diameter (um); D is the input Material size diameter (um), Q is production capacity (t/h).
4) Determination of the diameter of the toothed roller
The more commonly used experience now is that the ratio of the diameter of the toothed roller to the particle size of the feed is: φ/D≥0.8~1.5.
5) Tooth roller length L
When crushing hard materials, L/φ=0.3~0.7; when crushing soft materials, L/φ=1.25~2.5.
