The sieve size of the vibrating screen directly affects the fineness modulus, gradation and stone powder content of machine-made sand. The larger the mesh size, the greater the fineness modulus of the machine-made sand, and the content of particles above 2.36 in the gradation also increases. According to the experimental results, the actual size of the mesh is controlled within 3.5 to 4.5. In between, the particle gradation, stone powder content and fineness modulus of machine-made sand can meet the production requirements. In the actual production process of Xinfu high-speed machine-made sand, the mesh size of the vibrating screen is 3.8rnm. After sieving, the resulting machine-made sand gradation has a content of more than 2.36 between 13.6% and 14.8%. At the same time, the particle gradation of machine-made sand is reasonable to meet the needs of actual engineering.
