Cone crushers are divided into standard type and short head type, which are generally used for medium and fine crushing, and standard type, which is generally used for secondary crushing, that is, medium crushing. The average size of the product is the feed divided by the crushing ratio. The standard type of our cone crusher is mostly used for open circuit, and the short head type is mostly used for closed circuit. The short head type is generally used for fine breaking, that is, final breaking. The cone crusher has four cavity types. Namely extra coarse, coarse, medium, and fine. The principle of selection is determined by the feed size and the size of the discharge pellets. The feed size is large and the product size is coarse. Choose special coarse or coarse type, otherwise, use medium and fine type.
When choosing a liner, users generally must consider three factors: output, power consumption, and wear resistance of the liner.
Generally, it should be carried out according to the following principles: feed size, particle size change, feed size distribution, material hardness, material wear resistance.
The longer the liner, the higher the power consumption. Choose short liners for hard materials and long liners for soft materials. In terms of material distribution, choose short liners for fine materials and 10% long liners for coarse materials. If it exceeds 10%, The power consumption increases, and the product granularity becomes flakes. The increase in the moisture content of the viscous material can affect the throughput of the material. As far as the moisture content of the material is concerned, it generally does not exceed 5%. In the use of power: the standard cone crusher should reach 75%-80%, and the short head cone crusher should reach 80%-85%. In terms of the distribution of the feed size, generally speaking, the material smaller than the closed side discharge opening cannot be exceeded.
